Cheri Perlite, General Manager

Drawing on more than 25 years in the hospitality industry, Yankee Pier Larkspur General Manager Cheri Perlite works in collaboration with the kitchen and waitstaff at the sustainable seafood restaurant to provide an unmatched dining experience for their guests.

“Our team at Yankee Pier works to uphold a tradition of attentive and friendly service,” says Cheri. “When guests walk through our door the whole restaurant comes alive to exceed expectations and provide an unforgettable experience.”

Born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Cheri began her career at her parents’ bowling alley and restaurant, Nokomis Lanes. She spent the next 20 years serving in restaurants throughout the Minneapolis-Saint Paul area. In 2004, seeking a warmer climate, Cheri moved to California. Landing in San Rafael, she took a position at Amici’s East Coast Pizzeria, where she worked until early 2007. Prior to joining Yankee Pier as Manager in 2009, Cheri managed Red’s Java House in San Francisco.

“After researching Lark Creek Restaurant Group, I was impressed with the company’s philosophy of local and seasonal cuisine, including sourcing only sustainable seafood,” explains Cheri. “As General Manager of Yankee Pier Larkspur, I am proud to communicate that philosophy to our guests.”

When not busy at the restaurant, Cheri volunteers for Big Brothers Big Sisters and every Thursday she spends time with her little “sister.” Currently living in Novato, she also enjoys painting and makes jewelry for her sister’s business back home in Minnesota.
