Terry Lee, General Manager

As general manager for Yankee Pier Santana Row, Terrence Lee provides outstanding service and individual attention to guests, ensuring they enjoy their dining experience. “One of the most important components of my job at Yankee Pier is ensuring a high level of service,” says Lee. “When we excel in making guests feel welcome and taken care of, they will look forward to a return visit.”

Lee’s first restaurant job was at the age of 15, when he worked as a dishwasher at a country club near his home in San Jose, California. Several years later, he was hired as a bartender and was quickly promoted to managing bartender at the San Jose Arena, home to the San Jose Sharks. Lee decided to change courses slightly, gaining experience working in restaurant infrastructure, by accepting a position for a company supervising the installation of restaurant information systems and managing restaurants’ Web sites. However, he missed interacting with customers and the social aspects of restaurant work and returned to restaurant management at Brittania Arms Restaurant & Pub in downtown San Jose.

In 2006, Lee joined Yankee Pier Santana Row as a manager. He was quickly promoted to General Manager. “Working at Yankee Pier as part of the Lark Creek Restaurant Group has been a tremendously fulfilling experience. I look forward to growing with the Group and continuing to exceed our guests’ high expectations.”

When not at Yankee Pier Santana Row, Lee enjoys dining out at new restaurants, watching films and biking. A South Bay native, Lee resides in San Jose.
